So I'm a little slow at posting pictures from Jacob's birthday as I was tired by the time everyone left on Wednesday and then I was busy planning a baby shower for a friend at church that we had last night. I figure better late then never......pictures are always fun to see!!!
Jake's birthday was a huge success in his eyes. He loved all his presents and by Thursday morning we couldn't keep him out of the birthday cake. Thank goodness it's all gone!!!! I'm not sure if he had a favorite toy.......we got him a little basketball net that was a huge hit....all three kids have tested out the shaving kit Karen and Brandon got him.....and he loves the planes and cars he got......oh yah and I can't forget the Spiderman rubber boots that made his night!!!! I think he was a little overwhelmed with all the attention as he couldn't get those candles on the cake blown out by himself........and anyone who knows Jacob knows that he's usually faster at getting to the candles then the person having the birthday. I now am on to thinking about Jessica's birthday because I just don't know when to have it. Her birthday is the day after my due date and I'm afraid that might be cutting it a little close......the weekend before is out as Jeff will be away in North Carolina and I'm not doing a kid party by myself at 39 weeks pregnant!! Who knows!!!! I'm sure it will all work itself out and be great in the end. Enjoy the pictures of my 3 year old......I still can't believe he is 3 already......

On one other side note of the night. Jeff has gotten a new toy to play with......a friend was selling her kayak for a really good deal that he couldn't pass up. After most of the guests left it made it's way into my living room ( it's not there anymore). Needless to say Jacob has taken quite the liking to it. He insisted on sitting in it with his new rubber boots and was pretending to paddle. I was afraid that we would never get him to bed. The kids are quite anxious to go camping this summer and see it in the water!!!!

i always love reading your posts! you have such a cute little family...well not so little anymore, 3 plus 1 will make 4!!! i am glad that the birthday party was a sucess!
