Busy month.......I have returned!!!!

So it has been a busy August but I figure that I need to return to my blog and jot down what we've been up to!!! The first week of August was a busy week. Jeff booked the Friday off of work and we decided to take the kids to the zoo. The weather was beautiful that day......a little too beautiful as it was around 40 in the valley. We managed to enjoy the heat the best we could and the kids all had pony rides and we have decided to try the end of September in hopes that it will be a little cooler and we'll be able to see the animals a little better!!

So the day after the zoo was my sister Karen's wedding!!! I decided to get my makeup done as I wanted to look extra nice........I haven't worn makeup in forever so I figured it would be better to pay someone to do it rather then attempting it myself. The day was busy but absolutely wonderful. The big girls had matching dresses that Brandon's mom made and they looked too cute!!! Georgia had one that was quite similar but seeing as she doesn't walk she didn't get to spin around in it. After the wedding we did LOTS of pictures......most of which Jacob wasn't too thrilled to be in. We did get a few good ones of him but he was more interested in chasing a cat around that he found on the temple grounds. After pictures my family came over (minus the bride and groom) and we had a snack of Chinese food before the reception.......it was delicious!!!! We had a blast a Karen's reception.......the girls were asking all night when it was going to be time to dance. When the time came we couldn't keep them off the dance floor. They really couldn't have asked for a better night. Jacob had so much fun that he eventually sat on my lap and just passed out. He stayed that way until after 9 the next morning!!!

So we have recovered from the wedding.....we got to watch them open their gifts the next day at mom's......making notes of all the cool things to borrow!!! I'm so glad it's not me having to move all the stuff!!! To be honest since then we haven't been up to anything that exciting......Jeff's been working.....the kids have had soccer and just normal every day chores. Jeff did take me out last week and bought me a bike!!!! It's really awesome!!! We are heading down to Keji next week and plan to take all the bikes so hopefully we can get in lots of riding!!! It will be nicer next year when we can put Georgia in her trailer for the ride......she's still too small this year!!! I'm just hoping to burn off some more of the baby weight that is still hanging on......

I am on the run now......our dryer is acting up so I have to get my wash moving so I can take it up to Jeff's mom's to dry.....hopefully tomorrow we'll get things all moved around and fixed up!!!!
