So we had a baby......I posted on that one.......with that brought a baby blessing. We decided that we would bless Cooper on the same weekend as Jacob's birthday as all of our family was in town. What was I thinking???? That weekend pretty much did me in......I was exhausted. We kicked off the last weekend in March with heading out to the movies to see " Monsters vs. Aliens" for Jacob's birthday. He wanted to go as a family and do some bowling for his birthday. I figured this will be my last year of managing not to have a "kid" party for him so I didn't argue with his request. We left the youngest 2 with my mom and off we went. The movie was great and enjoyed by all, one that we will buy for sure when made available. I love watching my kids laugh at the movies.........mind you the kid in the row behind us was laughing ALOT.....it was even funnier!!!! On Saturday Jeff took the kids to the bowling alley for a little bit of fun, Aaron Wright and his kiddies joined up for the fun as they couldn't make it to the party that night, plus Jacob's cousins were in town and they tagged along as well. From what I gather the kids had a fun time and I got to hang out with Tanya and enjoy a little peace and quiet. That night our family joined Jacob for cake, ice cream and presents. Jacob got LOTS of LEGO and that totally made his night. He has become very easy to shop for in the toy dept. and with LEGO you can chuck it all in one bucket and not feel the least bit guilty about breaking it because rebuilding it is lots of fun!!! It's hard to believe that he is 5 already and going to school in the fall.
My 5 year old...
We had 5's all around the house....
Parents for sale, buy one get one free
( a gift from Auntie Laura)
More LEGO.......yahoo!!!
He loved his Spiderman cake....
So after Saturday's events we had Sunday left......Cooper's Blessing Day. We managed to make it to church on time.....always a good thing, fun to do with 5 little ones at 9a.m but we made it. It was a full house that day with Cooper and Eva Quist both being blessed. He was good as gold as Jeff gave him a really nice blessing. After church we had our friends and family over for a BBQ and salads and dessert. Everyone helped by bringing something and it made the day sooooo much easier and relaxing for me. It was so awesome to have everyone there to make Cooper's day extra special. Hard to believe at this point the "little" guy is 2 weeks old. We are just super glad to have him in our family and I'm thankful to have survived the month of March!!!!
One of many attempts at a family picture.....
( in the same sleeper his big brother was blessed in)
I must cut this short, it will hopefully hold you over till I come back. I have kids that need tucking in and I need to download some more pictures off the camera before I can finish. April wouldn't be too exciting if I didn't have a few pictures to post with it. Till then......

Hey Kathy,
Props to you for being able to keep up at all. Miss the good ole days of coming in and staying at your house for the weekend. Those were some fun times!
Yay Kathy!! I love what a big deal you make of your kids' birthdays. How fun for them!
I love that you blessed cutie Cooper in a sleeper....Cam was blessed in a plain white polo onesie. I'm not a fan of crazy blessing outfits! And that's VERY impressive that you can get all 7 of you to church on time at 9! We have a tough enough time with the 4 of us and ours is at 1!! I'm so happy you added little Cooper....I am the 5th child of 5, and so yay for the baby of the family!
I still can't believe that you have 5 kids! When I told my Mom you had another kid she thought it was number 4 because when we were up there 3 years ago you had three kids. You are a baby crazy Mama and I love it :). Although I have no idea how you are doing it...I can barely deal with the thought of maybe someday having three or four...never five! Good luck :), maybe one day you'll beat my Mom!
Your family is beautiful Kathy!
That was a fun weekend for sure. I can't believe Jacob is going to school and it will just be Georgia and Cooper home with you next year. Life certainly doesn't slow down for anyone.
You are one amazing girl...I don't know how you do it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND JAKE and congrats on the newest bundle of joy.
Congrats on little Cooper! He is a cutie! I can't believe how much the kids have grown and that you have 5 now. I bet life is busy. I hope all is well with you!
