I'm mentally trying to "prepare" myself for the next couple of weeks. I'm really starting to wonder how my mother didn't go mental when we were growing up. My 3 siblings and I all had birthdays within 10 days of each other......most of the time Michael and I shared a cake as we have the same birthday......sometimes it was cool.....other times not so much and honestly by the time Karen rolled around you didn't want to hear the word cake. This month I have my "boys" birthdays. Thanks to my doctor inducing me super early with Cooper their birthdays are almost 2 weeks apart ( unlike the girls in May......) but it's just going to be a busy 2 weeks......we are kicking off next week with Cooper's first birthday......ending the week with Jacob's "friend" party and then in another week having Jacob's "family" party......and did I mention I'm having a baby shower for my SIL Keah in between.....and our 10 year wedding anniversary is this week.Do I think I'm going to go crazy??? Maybe......would I change it?? Nope......I'm just going to EMBRACE it.....and hope I come out with all my hair.
Cooper had his 12 month check up the other day.....about 11 days early but I don't think that will matter too much. He tipped the scales at 27 lbs and 30 inches long. He continues to grow and is high on the charts. He is such a little ball of energy and so entertaining. We have turned his seat around in the car and he LOVES it. I will talk to him, to try to get him to say "Mama"......forget it.....he's never going to......when I ask him to say it he will usually laugh out loud a couple of time and then says "Dada"......what a guy!!! I just love him to pieces.......I really think that him and Georgia will keep me on my toes. Speaking of Georgia.....she just came in the office, with a bite out of a cookie......the conversation went like this......
G: " Mommy, can I have a cookie?"
M: " What if I say no?"
G:" Then I will just eat it...."
G:" I like these cookies"....and she left.....laughing.....what a girl!!
I'm off.....I almost burnt the last tray of cookies......not paying attention to the time. I'm off to make a to do list......I feel like it is getting longer and longer with no end in site. Lists are good though......they are even better the more you check off.....I will be back.....with lots to tell!!!!
I might look like this in a few weeks.....

That is a GREAT shot!!!! And I am always amazed at how big your kids are!! holy! Enjoy the craziness and good luck with it all!
That boy is cute! And I feel for you. My kiddies birthdays are three weeks apart with Easter right in the middle. I can feel the month getting crazier with each day that passes!
