Try not to eat them all in one day....
These are a favorite around our house. I don't think this batch lasted more then 48 hours. I used to make them alot with M & M's instead of the chocolate chips. I'm sure you can add in extra stuff if you want more or leave out the chocolate chips and they are a yummy oatmeal cookie. Enjoy......let me know if you try them!!!
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies......
1 Cup. Margarine
1 Cup. Brown Sugar
1 Cup. White Sugar
Cream these 3 and then add:
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mix until blended all together.
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
Sift and add to already mixed ingredients. Once blended add:
3 Cups oatmeal
1- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Stir the oatmeal and chocolate chips in well. Shape into balls and spread evenly on cookie sheet. Make sure to line your sheet with something so the cookies don't stick.
Bake at 375 fro 10 -12 minutes......

Way to post this on DAY 1 of the Kryptonite goal! Sheesh! HAHAHAHA!! Looks great though! When I'm done my month of torture I'll for sure make these!
Thanks Kathy!
They look DELICIOUS!!! I will have try them! I'll let you know!
Made them yesterday! Now.. I thought I had Oatmeal, but I had "Old Fashioned Rolled Oats" and used that. I think they may be almost the same!? Anyway, they turned out great!! Thanks, I will have to wait until I have a normal sized oven to make them again, I think... I have only 2 pans that will fit and had to use them twice! Soon.... SOON!!
Thanks again!
Terri

YUM! Thanks for this! I'm throwing half the batch into the freezer because I LOVE frozen cookies. (and I eat them slower that way!!)
