Nothing tastes better then a yummy baked ham dinner with orange sauce and homemade tea biscuits. We grew up having orange sauce on our ham and I can't have it without. The kids get super excited when we have this meal. So all you have to do to enjoy this recipe is grab a ham at the store and pop it in your oven until it's done and cook some veggies up to serve with it. I guarantee you are going to LOVE this sauce......
The tea biscuits are another favourite from growing up and they are the best when they are still hot and the butter melts with the homemade strawberry jam........we also have used this recipe for strawberry shortcakes.

1/2 cup white sugar
pinch of salt
1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup orange juice
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Boil 3 minutes ( until thickened) then add 1 1/2 tsp butter. Pour into dish and serve on ham.
Tea Biscuits
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Mix together. Then with either pastry blender or fork add in
1/2 cup shortening
Then add 1 cup milk and mix. I then sprinkle some flour on the counter and pat them to desired thickness. Bake at 425 F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
