Deal of the day.....

I love to shop the sales.....and I love to get deals....and I love to use coupons. I always watch for ones I use at the grocery store, if it's something I know that will go on sale and the expiry date has lots of time left I grab a bunch. Last month they had some at Sobeys for Schweppes Gingerale. If you buy 2/2L bottles you save a dollar......not to bad.....right??? Well today out in the Passage I could get 3/2L bottles for $1.00.......you read that right......6L of gingerale for $1 and the best before date is the end of April. So I went to the store.....I got 12 bottles of gingerale as it's good for punches and birthdays are coming up.....and then they had 500g boxes of Catelli pasta for $1.79 and it was BOGO.....so I grabbed 6 boxes of pasta for the food storage shelf as it's getting pretty bare.

Grand total........ 12/2L Gingerale and 6/500g boxes of pasta.......$7.08.......sweet!!!

Now to put it away.....and check on Miss Sarah who is down and out with strep throat....
