So sad this morning to hear of the passing
of President Hinckley. My girls were quietly
talking about it this morning when we heard
and Jessica just came up and said, " I can't
wait to hear who the new prophet will be."So
glad that they don't totally understand dying yet.
Of all the prophets I remember him the most
and will miss hearing him speak. He always had
a way of making you laugh. How lucky we were
to have him come to visit us in Nova
Scotia. The things he has done for us are truly
remarkable. What an amazing man and one who will
be truly missed by the world!!!

Agreed...I was quite shocked...I mean he was 97 but he seemed sort of invincible in a way like he'd never die.
I just can't help but think that he must be so happy to be reunited with his sweet wife. All of the flags are at half-mast here in downtown Salt Lake. It's comforting to know that the Lord already knows who the next prophet will be.
that was so sweet of you kathy and I really enjoyed opening your blog and seeing his sweet face...he truly was a truly loved prophet...he always kinda reminded me of grandad...I am glad to like becca that he'll be reunited with his wife, he loved her so so much!!
i also loved hearing him talk. it was his quiet humor that got me the most.
