So first things first......I'm glad a few people know how to have fun and make some guesses on my last post. My cousin Suzie was the first to get it right......she even called to confirm it with me. I came across it the other week as I was looking through the new MEC catalog. I got quite the chuckle from it.......the thing that even made me laugh more is that you can buy an attachment hose that gives you enough accuracy to write your name in the snow. Nice......the things they think up for us ladies!!!
Enough on that.......the Easter Bunny made a stop at our house again this year much to the kids delight. It was soooooo funny to listen to all the things they said. I wish I had written them all down. Jeff and I were still awake at 2 a.m reading when we heard Jessica shout out with delight that the Easter Bunny had come........she then proceeded to wake Sarah and inform her of this fantastic news. For the next few minutes you could hear them scamming and schemeing to get out of their beds. I think Sarah was the first to make a pee trip........her report was 3 eggs in the bathroom.....some how she missed the 9 on the back of the sink.....my guess is she was so sleepy she forgot to wash her hands.....tsk....tsk....Jessica was the next out of bed after hearing that report......she made a pit stop on route to the bathroom to show us the carrot note in the hallway. I really was afraid that they wouldn't go back to sleep but somehow they did. The next morning they were up and ready to go. For anyone who knows Jacob he is a very sound sleeper and super hard to wake up.....very hard. Once he heard Jessica say the Easter Bunny had come he BOLTED out of bed RUNNING.......it was too cute!!! They had fun hunting their eggs......and looking at their treats. I have a new theory that if it can't fit in the basket it's not meant for Easter. I guess I don't want it to become a crazy present holiday. That would take away from the true meaning of why we celebrate the holiday. My kids were quite excited with the candy treats they got, their new books and underwear.......Jake was especially excited about the underwear!!! I'll be glad when all the chocolate is gone because at this point I just can't stop eating it:)
My Jessica Rabbit.....
Miss Georgia Bunny.....
My Sarah Rabbit....
My Jake Rabbit too.......
Easter Monday brought together some of my old friends from highschool. It was such a fun time to get together. Kim was in town with her hubby Simon and daughter Grace so we all hooked up at Kate's place for a visit. Kate has 2 kiddos......Miles is 2 and Charlotte is 5 months.......Gill has Libby who is almost 10 months.......and Kim has Grace who is 9 months. It was fun to see Libby, Grace and Georgia together as they are only 28 days apart. Hopefully we'll be able to hook up next time Kim is back in town and that it won't take us 10 years to get together again!! It was a great time and I'm so glad we pulled it off.
Miss Grace
Miss Libby
Miss Georgia
The big guy....Miles.....no Charlotte shots....she
wasn't too happy....cutting teeth!!
Birthdays have begun!!!! Jake kicks off birthdays in our house and he turned 4 this past Friday. I still can't believe that he is that old already. We had family and friends over for some cake, ice-cream and finger foods. Jake was soooooo good at opening his presents. He even put all the garbage in the bag before moving on to the next thing. We got him a bike this year as he out grew last years and he has been riding it ever since. I don't think that we are going to be able to keep up with him this year at Keji. The other favorites have been the Shake n' Go cars......we have had a few crashes......but lots of laughs and his adventure backpack. It has gone everywhere.......the girls sometimes use it more then him but still lots of fun. I like the real flashlight/lantern it came with.....it works really well....it has been tested lots.
Testing out the new wheels....
Checking out his books....
Getting ready to blow out his candles.....
On that note.....not to much else to report. Jeff is gone to a kayaking course with Luke Petersen tonight. They are learning how to roll their kayaks. I can't wait to get them to show me on the lake when it's warmer. Jeff is excited to have someone to kayak with and I'm hoping that Jessica and I will get to go out sometime with them too!!! I'm excited to test out the new kayak this spring. I haven't been up to much more......got Georgia's birth certificate today and SIN numbers for all the kiddies. I want to get her passport done in the next few months so I figured I best start now. Sarah is a little under the weather tonight......hoping it passes so I can send her back to school but at this point it is a waiting game. I'm off to read some more of my book......"Three weeks with my brother"......such a good read.....and maybe do some laundry......I will try and be better at getting updates done......till then......

Great update and pics...looks like you get a lot more accomplished when we're not chatting away, huh! Too bad we couldn't get Karen to join us tonight! Our 3-way chats are so fun!! I wish I could make it out there before Cam turns 2 so he'd fly free, but that's coming up so quick! I love all the bunny ear pics! Sounds like a fun Easter morning for your kids! I hope to be a fun mommy! Oh, and by the way....you are the proud owner of some enchilada sauce packets!!! I just need your addy and they'll be on their way (and I'll try to get that pic for your fridge too!! Do you want a more recent one too, or just the one my cousin took?) Whoa, long comment...I'm sure you don't mind!!! Sorry!
oh, i was right about the pee thing! its funny that you put that up there, there was a thing on tv about it the night before (which is probably the only reason i know about it).
looks like easter and birtday's were a lot of fun. mine is on thursday, tragically, it's not as exciting as it used to be.
thanks for the update. your kids look so cute in their bunny ears, and you do too!
what a fun update...although I did know about most of the things menitoned..I still love reading about it all though and seeing the pictures too. I wish I could have been in on that three way chat too...they are always to fun but we were watching RV. Loved all the pictures...get me new kids ones soon!!! Miss you today...can't wait for tuesday nights again!!
I can totally picture Jacob up and running for those eggs. He looked right at home on the new bike. I'm glad the kids had a great easter. It sounded like lots of fun. Everyone looked really cute in their bunny ears. I'm just wondering who ate Georgia's candies? I know she didn't since you wouldn't even let me give her cake or ice cream.
P.S I still like the idea that the pee device could have been a breast pump.
Wow!!!! sounds like you had a fun and interesting easter weekend. Love the post and the pictures...I can't believe that Jacob is 4 now. I am still shocked that Ella has just turned four. My, how the time flies.
