A new blog header....HELP

So you will see that I have a new header......it's kinda what I want.....but how do I get rid of the exterior lines??? Or how can I get my other box to fill it closer to the edges??? Can you help a girl out???? I am stumped.......

i love it!!! I think you can go and just make those lines white to get rid of them... if you still can't figure it out, call me and we'll figure it out!
