Life doesn't seem to slow down around here lately.....atleast for me. We had Jessica back to the hospital this week for more work on her tooth and I'll be glad when that adventure is behind us. She still will have a few more visits and then they do the permanent stuff to her root canal. She is a tough cookie!!! I am amazed at her everytime we go.
To round the week out yesterday Jeff had gall bladder surgery. I was and have been super stressed about it and still have a little bit of stress until he is able to get back to work. This time a year is tough enough sometimes but to have him not be able to work and earn money because of his health is tougher. I must say it was a relief when his doctor walked in and I recognized him as a friends husbands. She was my manager at McDonalds for years and I knew him from pictures. It gave me enough reassurance to stop stressing and to know that things would be okay. Strange but that was just one of the connections.......
We are 32 hours post op now and things are okay . He has 4 incisions that show where they went in with one being more sore then the others. He isn't allowed to lift, push or pull anything so that makes things a little tough with 2 small ones. My mom has been fantastic and was here yesterday to help out with the kids and then today came by after a long day at the temple and took my little 2 home for a sleepover. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!! What a huge help that has been not only for me but now Jeff can rest a little easier and not worry about hurting feelings or getting hurt. Cooper tried to cuddle today and Jeff had to push him away before he body slammed himself on all his sore spots. Poor Cooper doesn't understand why Daddy can't cuddle and play right now and gave Jeff the stink eye, dropped his lip and started to cry. It just about broke my heart. The next week should be a busy and challenging one and I'm just hoping that Jeff heals fast and is back on his feet soon. Enjoy a few shots of him on the big day......I'll spare you the shot of the incisions!!!

Before heading into surgery......we were laughing about so much at this point.....

Starting to get some colour back......he was pretty light headed still at this point
and he had been out of recovery for an hour already......

Wow! Your family has seen a lot of the hospital lately! (I can't forget the bathroom door accident either!) Hope there are no more near future visits (except for the root canal of course).
