On another note......a happy one for "someone" certain.....tomorrow is the big trip day.....Jeff and his Dad are heading out at the crack of dawn for North Carolina for their big NASCAR weekend. I'm really excited for them but that just adds to my blah day by thinking of him having a fun weekend while I get to stay at home with the kids prego and feeling crappy!!! I really am happy with 4 kids at this point.....with no desire to ever be pregnant again!!! Thank goodness he said he's going to bring my back some Bath & Body Works......a little soap and lotion can always cheer a person up!!! Oh well.....enough of the misery today.....I am off to switch some laundry....it's not gonna climb in the washing machine by itself......I sure wish it could. I'm leaving you with a picture of the hotel the guys are staying at this weekend.....it's a 4 star.......wish I could sleep there.......oh yah.....as per the title I would love any suggestions on how to safely induce labour?????

Any ideas to induce labour????
So I was excited today heading into my appt. hoping that they were actually gonna give me hope of a baby by my due date.....as that's what I had previously been told I would likely get. After a quick and painful "checkup" the dr. told me to book my usual appt with my dr. and that I should book to see him next Friday.....does he not know that will mean I'm overdue?? I'm not overly impressed as when I saw my dr. at my hospital visit on Monday she said a game plan would be made. I don't know what game they are all playing but I'm not happy at all about it. They keep telling me I'm not having a massive baby but I'm not so trusting on that issue. I might not be a blimp from head to toe yet but I'm almost at the weight I was when I popped out Jacob. I would tend to say that I'm just hiding it well this time. Needless to say I plan to try and get a hold of the dr. tonight to see if I can atleast get a planning score done to see the size of my baby. I' not holding my breath for that one either!!! The pain is not letting up and I don't know what person can do nothing all day when they have 3 kids under 5......I try....I'm not overly successful!! I have a 3 yr old who is as busy as 5 kids.....he loves to scale the cupboards looking for food.....and is usually successful!! Ughgh!!! It makes me want to scream!!!

Hey there, sounds like your done being pregnant and want to meet this baby. I induced my labour with all three times with castor oil and was successful. It won't harm the baby and will only help things along if your ready to go if not you'll just have a good case of the runs. LOL. That's how I was able to have all my kids born on a Friday and once discovered the second two were born 1 day before their due dates and very healthy.

A friend told me that nearing the end of her pregnancy she was ready for the baby to come, and so a couple hours before her appt she ate a whole bag of chips. When the Dr. checked her vitals, her blood pressure was way high and they decided to induce labour.
Hah!
Good Luck! I hope the delivery goes well.

oh my gosh i am so sorry to hear you are having a rough time. if you need anything at all (other than a good idea for inducing labour, i am no pro at that) call me. if you need someone to run to the store and get you a bag of chips, as per someone elses comment, i'm there. in the meantime i'll pray that ya pop it out like...nowish.
Four wheelin is the only way to induce, find a rough road and an insensitive or possibly deaf driver and get ready to "head out". Sure other people would suggest more traditional methods like castor oil or a trampoline, but nothing beats the smells of mud gas and....water!
I did the castor oil on a Sunday afternoon and had my baby at 2 in the morning on Monday, I didn't even get sick. However, I was 8 days overdue at the time. If you haven't popped yet and are willing to do the castor oil, I suggest at least 4 TB in a milkshake, then you can't taste it at all. I feel your pain, good luck!
