Kababji, Fathers Day and Stripping........

Life has not been dull.......not too busy but still busy enough. On Friday night Jeff, Darren and I went out to dinner to Kababji. Lesley wasn't to happy to hear that we actually carried through with this dinner date but we had to have Darren eat at one awesome restaurant before her. It's the never ending joke around here but I told her that I would take her there for lunch one day so she could try it out. We had a yummy meal and left with super full bellies. It is Lebanese food and AMAZING.......I recommend for everyone to try......it's in Burnside right next to the Mission Office. If you can get reservations on a Saturday night you can even see some belly dancing!! My mom watched the kids and they got to have some play time with Uncle Brandon and Auntie Karen at the playground. It looked like a fun time!!! Karen took lots of pictures. On Saturday morning the girls finished off Gymnastics at their "Fun Meet". I wasn't thinking and didn't take the camera but managed to get some video footage on my Blackberry. They had a blast and loved getting their ribbons, candy and medal at the end. We aren't too sure if we will be doing gymnastics again in the fall but they have had alot of fun doing it until now. Saturday night Jeff and I got together with some friends for a yummy steak BBQ and a little Rockband. It was so funny!!!! The steak was delicious........Jodie Smith made the BEST homemade ice-cream and the kids had a blast with Chelsea as she came over to babysit......it was long overdue. She's awesome and my kids just adore her. Always nice to know that someone you trust is with your kids and that they love them as much as you do.

My amazing supper......you can get rice if you don't want fries

Starting to dig in....
Darren getting ready to take his first bite

Loving the hummus......it's awesome!!!

Sunday brought Father's Day around and we made some breakfast for Daddy and the kids had a blast giving him the gift they had picked out. Sarah LOVES the color pink so of course while we were at Tommy Hilfiger getting a tie for Daddy she found a pink shirt. Luckily he loved it and proudly wore it last night. We had the Fraser clan over for dinner (we missed you Lesley) which is always a fun time. Aside from an accident with the potatoes all went smoothly and the kids had a blast hanging out together. We don't have the kids together nearly enough........we need to fix that Lesley!!! I took some pictures from dinner so Lesley could see that we pampered her hubby on Father's Day......and the kids got to enjoy their day with Dad!!! We can't wait until she gets back this week from Florida. I'm sure that Susan will miss her company but we miss her lots here too!!!!! Movie night just hasn't been the same........
Jeff's Father's Day breakfast......
The whole gang.....good to see someone was into the chips....

I think he was worried as to what was in the bag
Sarah just knew the PINK would make him smile

Raven deep in thought.......

It's hard to get this one to sit still......
Climbing on her rocking chair.....

Great choice in dresses Auntie KaKa.....love it!!
Last but not least........ I think I'm in trouble.......I hope this is as far as it goes. I went in to get Georgia up from her nap this morning to find that she was trying to take off her clothes. She was pretty proud of herself and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed she doesn't start taking off the bottoms.......if so I'm going to have to sew all her clothes together:) I'm going to throw in some pictures of the beautiful flowers we have growing out front..........love seeing them come back every year!!! Hope to have something more exciting to tell you next time........maybe some adventures from my upcoming visit from Karen and Jeff.........can't wait to see them!!!!
She thought this was sooooooo funny!!!
What a girl......tonight she got a one-piece pair for bed
Jeff's purple irises are starting to open.....so pretty!!

Yay, great post Kathy!! I love how Georgia loved the shirt being over her head like that. Mmmm, Lebanese food sounds fun to try! We're taking some friends out to Korean food this weekend to introduce them to the goodness. They're going to return the favor by taking us to Indian food...the husband is from India. I love trying new Asian food.
It's been TOOOO long since we've chatted. I miss you!

Oh gosh guys, I feel so loved. It looks like you all have had a good time without me. I too, can't wait to come home although I'm sure an hour after being home I'll be wondering why I came back, lol. Anyway, thanks guys for looking after my brood. You sure looked good together. This summer we'll do more family time. Your babies, of course, all looked sweet and Georgia looked adorable both in and out of her clothes. I'm holding you to that lunch date Kathy!

Alright Kathy here you go.........first can I just say that you need to take me to this restaurant....I've heard you talk about it a few times and it looks sssoooo good....we need to make a date! Secondly....I think it's hilarious that G likes to strip....at least she's keeping it on the homefront...anywhere else...you may have to start worrying! And she so looked super cute in the dres we gave her...I'm glad! Also, loving Jake's hair...as would Michael, I just shaved him up real short too the other day...they can be short hair buddies again! Also I would like to come to your house for lets say "Kiki day", just so you can make me some seriously good looking breakfast like Jeff got...what do you say...shall we institute a day just for me!? Talk to you soon!

Super cute post. I took Aaron & Amanda to Kababji on Saturday night, not knowing about the belly dancing. They couldn't understand why I let them stay there & I won't let them go to Hooters. Kids who understands them! I remember Aaron & Kristine stripping down in the front yard & they even folded al their clothes nicely, just didn't want to get them dirty :-)
