One sport ends......another begins......

June is starting to get busy. Do I like busy.....sometimes.....sometimes not.....I guess I'll know how busy the month will be when I get Sarah's soccer schedule tomorrow night. I'm hoping that the girls have some games on the same night.....I don't want to be at a field every night of the week. So last Wednesday was the last day of gymnastics this term. The girls have both done really well and always enjoy class. They have improved alot these past 5 months and I'm quite proud of them. They both received their Red badges.....they have 3 in the Beginner level and both girls have earned the first 2. I'm not sure if they will be returning to gymnastics in the fall as they are thinking about trying out some new things so time will tell. They would love to do everything but things seem to get more and more expensive these days. Here are a few shots of them doing their things.......
Loves gymnastics....
Watching me, watching her....
Taking a break??
Just hanging out for a bit
Flipping over the bar
Sarah jumping around...
Jessica on the trampoline.....

Some of the pictures aren't as great as I wanted them to be but I was playing with the camera and then was told that I couldn't use my flash. It's a hard place not to use a flash. So we are now onto soccer season.......Jessica had her first game tonight. Her friend Alexander Pinsent is on her team this summer and so is her friend Nicholas from school. I think that she had a fun first night. Her team is called "The Explosion" and she seems to have a great coach. They practice for 45 minutes and then play for the last 45 minutes. She had some time running on the field and ended the night in nets. I'm not quite sure if she understands nets but she did a great job and even stopped some shots. Sarah, Jacob and Georgia had a blast watching and playing with Olivia. It is going to be fun hanging out with our friends at the fields this summer. Sarah has her first game tomorrow night and is excited. We know of one friend on her team and who knows.....maybe some more. Till another update from the fields tomorrow night....here are some more pictures....I'm off to cool off.....it was a smoking hot day with a humidex of 32 so I'm ready for the cool evening air.....
Catching her kick???
Dribbling the ball
Doing drills in practice....
Ring around the rosy.....

Why use one bottle when you can have two??
Stopping to watch the game for a minute
My little firecracker
Getting ready to play
Alexander practicing
Heading for the action
Alexander has the classic LONG jersey.....
Not too sure about the gloves
Alexander & Jessica.....

Just an extra two shots at the end......one of Georgia from supper....it's for Naomi....hard to see her full outfit but she is wearing the summer romper you gave her last year.....it fits her perfect and was great for the hot day today. And then the other is for Auntie KiKi and Uncle Mike.....she is modelling the dress you got her for her birthday.....she wore it to church the other week!!!!

Jessica looks so grown-up this year in her uniform and she looked super cute in the goalie uniform. Loved the pictures of Georgia and the two bottles and the one of her with the big grin...you just have the cutest kids and I'm way lucky that I get to be their auntie...let me know about wednesday and making those card things. Great pics Kathy! That is so awesome of you and Jeff to give your kids such great opportunities. I loved growing up doing t-ball, ballet and gymnastics!
Another awful day for me....this is getting annoying! Hopefully it'll pass soon!
