Home tonight

Nothing exciting going to be written tonight. Still recovering from a weekend away with my friend Tanya. Lots of driving, lots of shopping, some yummy food, and LOTS of crazy experiences. We laughed alot and didn't even have to pay duty on the extra money we spent. Loved that lady border guard!!! I'll post some pictures when I get them on the computer.

No One Tree Hill tonight......hate when they take a week off. I'm sure Karen misses me though:) I'm catching up on laundry, waiting for my race show to come on and thinking about Thanksgiving on Sunday. We have 11 people coming for dinner and it's going to be awesome. Jeff always makes a mean turkey. I will have to take pictures for sure. Trying to think of what kind of cheesecake to make....any suggestions on a good one??? And to top my weekend off my friend Lori, who I miss dearly, is coming home to visit with her crew and she's coming to watch the race with me. She laughs at me as I used to mock her about races...... now we have great chats and laugh at Dan (her hubby).

We are off to Truro tomorrow for Jeff's grandmother's burial. She passed away this past Sunday. She was a sweet lady who made the best meals when we used to visit them in Truro. When she could I even got Strawberry Pie........it was the best!! Her health hasn't been great over the past while and it's good to know that she is in a better place now. We will miss her but know that we will see her again. It's great to know that there is more.......I'm glad that I knew her over the last 9 1/2 years and that my 4 kids all got to meet her and feel of her love. I just wish that they had gotten more time to make the memories we will have!!! I am off.......more to come.....

Good luck with your cheesecake. I'm sorry to hear about Jeff's grandma, but it sounds like she died leaving a great legacy. We'll keep you in our prayers:)
