I am sometimes thankful for the things that Jacob brings home in his backpack. Sometimes it makes me wonder though where he is coming up with things or maybe he is copying off his neighbour. Last year he was thankful for his cottage.......we don't have one......LOL......this is what he wrote this year......

So I'm talking to Jeff on the phone today telling him about this "Thankful Turkey". I read it to him and we both are wondering where PEI came from. We have NEVER taken the kids there so I'm confused as to why he is thankful for it and then I'm wondering why Georgia was left out on the list of family names. So tonight as we are driving to Halifax I start asking him about his turkey. I keep asking why he put he is thankful for pei and he keeps persisting that he didn't write that. So I move on and ask why he didn't put Georgia's name on there.......quickly he answers he ran out of room. So I go back to the other subject and at this point I am reciting the words by memory. All of a sudden he says "Pie"......it's "Pie' and I didn't know how to spell it. How was I supposed to respond to that......I should be glad he had all the right letters there :)
What a kid!!!!
