Victoria Park....

I'm playing catch up right now, probably more for me then for anyone else but someday I might actually get my blog put into yearly books and it's good to remember the fun times!!! The first weekend in October was Abigail's baptism. She is our niece who lives in New Brunswick. With lots of people in town staying up there wasn't an option as they don't make anything affordable for a family of 7 so we decided to visit with our friend Scott in Truro for 2 nights. We went up to his place on Friday night, spent the day in New Brunswick on Saturday and then back to Truro that night and Sunday we went to Victoria Park. It was a busy weekend but I think that the kids had fun and Scott has been back to see us so we know the kids didn't do him in :) It's always fun to get away with the kids. They love adventure in life. They especially love climbing Jacobs Ladder in Victoria Park. I can't remember how many steps it has but lets just say it's alot and they are steep. I did them once and my legs felt like Jello. The 4 big kids did it 3 times I think and probably could have kept going. How nice it would be to feel that young and energetic again. Hopefully we'll make it up that way again sometime when the water levels are higher so the falls in the park will be a little more impressive. A must see on your Nova Scotia list......

My 4 big kids on a monument....

Scott and Jeff with all the kiddies.....

Jeff and all the kids......I would have been dying with Cooper on my back....

Some of the beautiful scenery in the park.....

Snack time.....

You didn't think Cooper was going to miss out on the food??

On our way back down.....

She thinks the world of Scott.....

Pointing at the crazy, topless guy dancing/exercising in the park

Loved the swings!!!

Almost had swings for all the kids......

When we home this summer we ended up spending most our time in Truro. We went to the park everyday. The park is the biggest reason why I want to live Truro. lt is my most favourite place!
