Against the wishes of my sisters we decided that we would pack up the kids for 4 days and head to Keji to spend Thanksgiving in the woods. The fall air and the colours are just amazing in October and I'm so glad that we went. For awhile it didn't seem like we were going to be able to go as the campground was booked up but luckily for us someone cancelled. It was a beautiful rain free weekend. The wind was a little more present then I would have liked but we still had fun. We did lots of biking, a few different hikes, carved pumpkins and of course had a turkey dinner. We didn't get out on the water as the wind was just too much and I didn't want to have cold, wet kiddos. I'm pretty sure we will try to return next year as we had forgotten how much fun it is. Hopefully some friends will get tough enough to join us. I'm thankful for the memories that we were able to make and for the time I got to spend with my husband and kiddies.....it's going to be hard to narrow down the pictures for the rest of this post......
